Have you been in an auto accident lately? Perhaps you're just a poor parallel parker? Whatever the reason, you can save yourself an expensive auto refinishing charge by purchasing an auto touch up paint kit. These kits include everything that you need to get your car, truck, minivan or SUV looking great again --
One of the premier companies manufacturing auto touch up paint products is Dupli-Color. Each one of their auto touch up paint kits include filler primer, clear topcoat, sanding pad, self-adhesive sanding discs, glazing and spot putty, some ultra-finishing polishing compound -- even a step-by-step instruction booklet -- everything you could ever want in an auto touch up paint kit.
Another source of reliable auto touch up paint is VHT. You can purchase their VHT Spray Plate finish paints. These are epoxy paints which are formulated to be quick drying. As they also include rust inhibitors, they are ideal for such things as auto trim touchup, headlights, bumpers, door handles and other parts on your automobile. You can purchase this auto touch up paint in colors such as chrome, bright gold, and anodized bronze. Price: around five dollars a can.
Do you need to apply paint to the wheel areas of your European car? Then you should check out 1Z Einszett Silver Spray Wheel Paint. This auto touch up paint has been expertly matched to the color scheme used on the wheels of European automobiles. 1Z Einszett Silver Spray Wheel Paint is an acrylic/lacquer-resin paint -- and if you have a European car such as a Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche or other European-type set of wheels, this is what you need. Highly recommended.
Now if you are a real klutz at painting (like I am), then perhaps you need to invest in an auto touch up paint marker pen -- these are coded to perfectly match your automobiles original manufacturer's color. And the best part about using these is that they are no more difficult than using a regular marker, as you would for writing -- simply uncap the touch up paint marker, apply it over the surface and allow it to dry -- that's all there is to it! One popular manufacturer of these paint marker pens is Krylon.
Finally, if time is of the essence and you can't waste it tracking down the source of auto touch up paint for your particular model, you need to head out to carpaintonline.com. They offer a multitude of auto touch up paints -- Lacquer, enamel, base coat and urethane type paints. On their site you can search by brand name or category. You can easily find the auto touch up paint you need if you know your OEM or PPG paint code, or the make/model of your vehicle. This site also sells hard-to-find auto paint as well as accessories and supplies, such as buff pads, body putty, auto detailing supplies, and much more -- so don't forget to check them out.
